Shed Hunting with Lee & Tiffany

Lee and Tiffany Lakosky, hosts of the hit Outdoor Channel show Crush with Lee & Tiffany, and owners of two Labrador retrievers and past National Shed Dog Hunting Champions, will teach attendees how to use their bird dogs to hunt whitetail deer antler sheds. Lee and Tiffany also plan to sign autographs at Outdoor Channel’s booth (#231/330). The Lakosky’s will be at the booth on Saturday, February 15th from 9:30AM till 11AM.
Wild Game Cooking

Wild game food writers Hank Shaw, Tovar Cerulli and David Draper will be featured speakers on the Wild Game Cooking Stage.
  • Hank Shaw - A former line cook, who spent 19 years as a political reporter, Shaw can now be found on his James Beard award-winning blog, Hunter, Angler, Gardener, Cook.
  • Tovar Cerulli - A vegan-turned-deer-hunter, Tovar Cerulli is author of The Mindful Carnivore: A Vegetarian’s Hunt for Sustenance.
  • David Draper - Draper serves as Contributing Editor for Field & Stream, where he is also the primary contributor to the Wild Chef blog at fieldandstream.com.
Bird Dog PARADE

The annual Bird Dog Parade will open Pheasants Forever's National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic 2014 at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee on Friday, February 14th. With over 30 sporting breeds, you'll find everything from Boykins to Brittanys, German Shorthairs to German Longhairs, Goldens to Gordons, Labs to Llewellins, Springers to Setters, and Wirehairs to Weimeraners.
Don't miss what has become one of the weekend's most popular attractions! Parade onlookers should arrive by 12:00 pm in the Third Floor lobby of the Convention Center outside the Exhibit Hall.
Bird Dog Bonanza

This is the nation’s leading event for bird dog owners and sporting dog enthusiasts. Meet with breeders and the best trainers in the world. Presenting trainers include Tom Dokken and Bob West, and bird dog training’s first family – Delmar Smith, Rick Smith and Ronnie Smith. Popular seminars include puppy training, retriever training, shed antler training and the “Ask the Experts” panel.

Rudy the Rooster is Pheasants Forever’s youth mascot, and his village is built on the idea that the outdoors and conservation are lots of fun!

Landowner Habitat Help Room

The Landowner Habitat Help Room is where landowners can find out how to improve acres for wildlife and even what local, state and federal conservation programs their properties qualify for.
Here’s how:
  • Bring the legal description of your property (township, range and section) or the ability to pinpoint the property’s exact location on the map
  • Sit down with a trained Pheasants Forever wildlife biologist to look at topographic and aerial maps of your property
  • Free with paid admission to the show
  • You’ll leave with a free wildlife habitat management plan for your land
National Banquet Keynote Speaker

Pheasants Forever will welcome Wisconsin’s First District Congressman Paul Ryan to its National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic event on Saturday, February 15th in Milwaukee. Ryan, a past Co-Chair of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus, will deliver the keynote address at the conservation organization’s national banquet.
