From pheasants to fish, duck blinds to bass boats, cabins to campgrounds, FAN Outdoors has been covering what's happening in the outdoors for 14 years. PF's Bob St.Pierre is part of the FAN Outdoors team that includes "The Captain" Billy Hildebrand, Outdoor News editor Rob Drieslein, and Minnesota DNR's Mike Kurre.

KFAN has hosted the Build a Wildlife Area phone-a-thon to raise funds for Pheasants Forever's Build a Wildlife Area campaign in Minnesota. That phone-a-thon has generated over $20,000 before matching grants in just the first five years. After matches, those dollars turned into $100,000 which contributed to seven land acquisitions covering more than 2,500 acres now open to public hunting.

It was a special night for the Fan Outdoors crew as it was the annual Build a Wildlife Telethon. Many guests joined to talk about the wetlands and waterfowl here in Minnesota.
